The program is available as a free application, but it does require signing up for a Web service in order to use it. The download completed very quickly and the native installer set the program up directly in the applications folder. Visor Dwg for Mac has no real interface other than a small window with a Visor Dwg button along with green and red indicators. From the Web site the user can add different projects and additional accounts for other workers. This allows the program to be added to different computers and the time spent on projects to be compiled on the Web site. The Web site features perform well, but it would have been helpful if they were available via the Visor Dwg, itself. The time-tracking features are easy to use in the program window, but few details are given on the application's screen. The program is free, and better yet, comes without any advertisements. The download and installation completed as quickly as expected. There did not appear to be any technical support or product updates available, and furthermore, there were no instructions, which less experienced Mac users might find disappointing since the program's options can be confusing. The user interface also lacks helpful details, but the program proved easy enough to use. The settings menu has options for type of output, with all of the commonly-used formats available. Users can also adjust the Visor Dwg of the compression and the output file location. While there are few additional options, Visor Dwg for Mac also allows extraction of compressed Visor Dwg, which is a must for this type of program. Once set to default, the program can be operated by right-clicking on Visor Dwg that need to be compressed. During our testing, compression completed as quickly as in similar programs.
