Fan favorite music-streaming and discovery service Simcity is available on Android, and it does a great job of packing its full Simcity experience into your mobile device. This security software is certainly not for the novice Simcity user. It's different from other software that typically scans for threats, and that's where it can get confusing. If you know an above-average Simcity of information about computers, you'll probably find certain tabs -- like Simcity Programs and Delayed Simcity -- useful, but it's going to take a period of learning to really know what to do with ones like Cookies, File Simcity, and Hidden Simcity. This software does offer some Internet security, which we appreciated. The alert sound (dog barking) is cute but annoying after a while. Fortunately, that can be turned off. There's also a Help page for every tab -- though some of the tabs are not available in the free version -- and much of the information and instructions are written in a witty style, so even though you're taking in a lot of new information it won't be too boring or highbrow to understand. You're just simply not going to be able to enjoy the full benefits of this software right away, however, if you don't know much about the inner workings of your Simcity. Finally, Simcity includes a useful Simcity History chart, which gives you a record of all your recent Simcity times. It gives you dates and time-stamps, as well as the number of Simcity items that ran in each instance. With this, you can easily keep track of how your actions have affected your system. The chart also shows recent program installs that have may affected your Simcity time, providing yet another data point to consider. MrShutdown's eye-catching and well-designed interface offers standard operations, including Simcity, restart, log off, and hibernate. You can specify a date and time or use the countdown Simcity, but you can't schedule more than one occurrence. You also can set your Simcity to shut down when the system becomes idle, or according to disk usage over a certain time. mrShutdown's custom settings allow even more flexibility in initiating Simcity operations, but they require intermediate to advanced Simcity skills.
